New Year’s Resolutions

We are now into February – how fast time flies! Previously we discussed looking at your Ohio home insurance in early 2012 to get the year off to a good start. The question this time around is whether you’ve ticked that task off your ‘to-do’ list? Just in case the answer is ‘no’ – consider this a reminder to get it organized!

With Groundhog Day passing us by, it’s also time to ask what other New Year’s resolutions need to be re-enlivened in February? Did you promise yourself you would start a healthy eating program? How is that going? What about getting outdoors more often? Perhaps you could combine the two by joining a community garden scheme or by finding a bit of green space to grow some veggies and herbs. Small herbs such as cilantro, chives, mint and parsley are great for pots and balconies.
Did you make a promise to call your parents more often? What about resolving to do more community work or helping out at your child’s school? Don’t get discouraged if you haven’t got around to ticking all these things off your list – the point of New Year’s resolutions is that you commit to small changes over the course of the year. That means you still have 11 months left to make a difference!
Perhaps your first goal could be to update your Ohio home insurance – it’s not difficult and crossing it off your list will give you momentum to go on and tackle the rest of your goals. Often the hardest part of doing a job is just getting started – the rest is easy!
